Guess who's back?....................

{making}{cooking}{finding}{doing}{living}

Wow, this year has flown by , and somewhere in the course of that flight this blog seems to have been {mostly} left behind :(.  And while, if I'm to be completely honest, I'm not surprised at that, I am determined to jump back in and, as this year heads into it's final quarter and the new year approaches, keep it up to speed with everything in this flight of life.  I have to say my mom always said that the older you get the faster time seems to pass, and I am finding that entirely true.  (On a side note, my sister has a theory as to why that is: at say, 10 years old 1 year is 1/10 of your life so far, at age 20 it is 1/20 of your life, at age 30 it is 1/30 and so on as you age and while 1 year will always take the same actual amount of time to pass with each passing year it becomes a smaller percentage of your expirience and life, therefore the way you relate to the passing of the time changes - i.e. it seems to pass faster.  Personally I think it makes a lot of sense.  And then if you also factor in how much more we try to cram into the same amount of time as we progress through adulthood - many times more than actually should fit - well, I'm sure that doesn't hurt either when it comes to the feeling of time flying past) But, back to this blog.................

So, to try to stay a little more on top of posts this fall and beyond I'm going to try approaching it a little bit different than I have in the past and post a combination of pre-planned posts and updates on projects,recipes, and activities as they occur. So........ here's some of the types of things I have planned for this fall.
             - A series on some of my tips and hints for party planning
             - Themed food weeks - this is something new I'm starting at home - one week a
                 month dinners will fit a "theme" with a different theme each month
             - I have several home improvement/decorating/redecorating projects that I'm
                hoping to get done so I'll be posting my progress
             - and of course there's Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, Apple picking,
                the pumpkin patch, fall trips to the mountains and more..............

So here it goes..........................................
